RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a full-time Logistics Controller to coordinate and manage the flow of goods throughout approximate 12,000 SF manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate and manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Comply with all regulations and laws for the transportation of goods.
- Monitor the performance of logistics operations and adjust them as needed.
- Track inventory, quantity, stock levels, delivery times and efficiency and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and suppliers.
- Communicate with customer service to provide updates on shipment status.
- Support and assist in Quality control and final inspections.
- Complete working knowledge of the CRM and Operating systems and practices.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Achieving agreed-upon production and shipping targets and outcomes within scheduled time.
- Helps maintain customer satisfaction and fosters positive relationships with clients.
- Complete Cross functional training to support and assist the production team complete and produce customer goods.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five (5) years logistics experience (shipping; receiving; inventory management);
- Strong computer skills, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) software;
- High school / College diploma.
